Pool, pond and store in Alma

The saltwater pool, the fishing pond and the general store are all on the same 23 acres as your site, and the laundromat never closes.

Pool

A saltwater pool, open in season

The pool is seasonal, so call the office before you arrive if a swim is part of the plan.

The pool is the first thing many families ask about when they pull in. The office will tell you straight whether it is open the day you arrive.

Staying a week or more? See the weekly rates on the nightly and weekly RV site page.

The catfish the whole park calls the master of the pond. Nobody has landed it.

Catch and release on the pond

Wet a line from the bank, then put the fish back. Paddleboats and BBQs are part of an evening on the water.

The general store has what you forgot

Walk over from your site instead of driving into town. The store sits in the A-frame by the gate, next to the office.

  • RV items for the small fixes
  • Drinks and snacks
  • Ice cream
  • Bundles of wood for the fire pit
  • Propane refills
  • Bags of ice

Propane refills are done on site, so you can top off the tank before you pull out. Need a longer stay? The monthly long-term sites are a short walk from the store.

“On a holiday from Australia our family stopped for a night at the Fort Smith-Alma RV Park. We couldn't speak more highly of the place.”

Open around the clock, and then some

Open 24/7

  • Laundromat
  • Full bath houses
  • Staff on site

Staff are on site around the clock, so a late arrival still gets an answer.

  • Fire pits and BBQs

Every RV site has a fire pit of its own, and there are BBQs on the grounds for the evening cookout.

  • Playground

A playground sits on the open grass, close enough to keep an eye on from your chair.

  • Pet and family friendly

Dogs and kids are both welcome here, and the pond, the playground and the pool give the kids plenty to find on their own.

  • Tent sites

Tent campers get the same bath houses, laundromat and store as the rigs, without hauling anything off the grounds.
